Yes, the Byzantine text has ἦμεν while the better manuscripts have ἤμεθα. I realize that you are Orthodox and therefore us the Byz text, but the NA27 had a member named Karavidopoulos whom I presume to be Orthodox as well. It's a matter of evaluating the manuscripts. Let's not, however, continue this question since this is not the forum for text-critical questions and there is another forum for that purpose (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/textualcriticism/).
I do have one question for you: Why do your posts sometimes come through with the formatting displayed as below?
