I'll say this much, which may sound outrageous to some: if you have to use a software parser or an interlinear to discern the inflection of a variable form of nouon, adjective, pronoun, or adverb, you haven't reached the first watermark of competence; lexicographical aids such as LSJ and BDAG and grammatical references such as Smyth and BDF I readily expect to have on hand when needed, but I do think that morphology charts should be about the first thing to chuck away.
