I noticed that many texts correct to BEBLHMENOS.>
Hi, Randall,
Dana/Mantey page 231: "According to Robertson only one
periphrastic aorist appears in the New Testament; viz., MH
BLHQEIS in Lk 23:19 (R. 375)"
<I'm travelling at the moment...>
If you are traveling near Colorado, how come you have not
stopped by to see me? If you are traveling near any place
other than Colorado, you have my sympathies.
Dana/Manty say the aorist does occur outside the GNT
but it is "rare." I will keep my eyes open for it in Homer and
Plato and let you know if I spot any.
