Erasmean pronunciation is the best!

if he can't do it, no one can!
Er, seriously, I have felt this way for years about mnemonics. Far better,
as you say, to hear and see the word in proper contexts to learn it.
(And I am kidding about Erasmean pronunciation, though he got it
surprisingly less wrong than he could have).
