I think I would start by looking at concordance generating software.
According to the Linguist's List (see
http://www.umich.edu/~archive/linguistics/linguist.list/volume.5/no.401-450),
the two to look at are probably:
Mac: Conc (http://www.sil.org/computing/conc/)
DOS: TACT(http://etext.lib.virginia.edu/helpsheets/tact.html)
Conc can be downloaded from the given page. To get TACT, try the
following:
III. There is a text-retrieval program called TACT which is
available via anonymous ftp.
You need to ftp epas.utoronto.ca
The files you need are in the directory /pub/cch/tact/
I have used neither program. If anybody tries these, let me know how it
came out.
