>>I am in the process of trying to locate a site which has the LXX in
both a Greek and English format. Does anyone know of such a site.<<
For the LXX in Greek, and some excerpts of the major (and for all
extents and purposes the only) English translation, try:
http://arts-sciences.cua.edu/ecs/jdk/LXX/index.htm
I am not sure if Sir Lancelot C. L. Brenton's 1851 English translation
is available in its entirety on the web. What I'd recommend doing is
checking out Mark Goodacre's "New Testament Gateway" at:
Unfortunately I did not find a link to any English translation of the
LXX there, but perhaps it is hiding behind another link. Goodacre's
pages are oriented towards the NT, not the LXX.
Your only alternative is to shell out $200-$400 for a high level
electronic bible like Hermeneutika's BibleWorks or Logos Software's
product (name slips me). These kinds of programs definitely do have
exactly what you want.
