I read with interest the communication from Timothy E. Mills:
Subject: John 6:27c

Perhaps hESPHRAGISEN = hESFRAGISEN is the aor ind act 3rd
sg of SFRAGIZW (I seal) rather than the 'verb imperf. act. acc. 3rd
pers. sing'.
The 'Revised NT - New American Bible' gives "For on him the
Father, God, has set his seal" as the translation.
A simple translation is "For the Father, God, sealed this person".
Thus I do not think "this one the Father sealed as God is a good
translation.
I hope this contribution is helpful.
Regards,
Noel.
