So that we know what we are looking at, the LXX has at Proverbs 31:31b
KAI AINEISQW EN PULAIS hO ANHR AUTHS
and let be praised in the gates her husband

 The Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia has:
 WiYHaL:LuWHa Ba$$:`aRiYM Ma`a:&eYHa
And let praise her in the gates her deeds/works

The Biblia Sacra Vulgata (Vulgate) has
et laudent eam in portis opera eius
and let praise her in the gates her works

So it seems the LXX translators mistook "her works" for "her husband",
and changed the voice and number of the verb accordingly. There is no footnote
in the BHS /apparatus criticus/ to indicate any MS variation. "Her husband"
in Hebrew is 'iY$aHh ; but then the verb would have to be singular instead of
 plural.
