Luke 24:21b
ALLA GE KAI SUN PASIN TOUTOIS
TRITHN TAUTHN hHMERAN AGEI AF' OU TAUTA EGENETO
In light of the fact that these words were spoken on a Sunday,
would the following be the most natural sense in which to
understand this passage:
TAUTHN hHMERAN is Sunday, which is day number 3 (TRITHN).
Hence, Saturday would be day number 2. And that, by Luke's
reckoning, would place Friday as the day all
these things (whatever they were) happened.
Any grammatical comments worth noting here?
Thank you,
Mark Wilson
