Machen aficionados now have an opportunity to move into the next Millennium
without changing their teaching methodology. All of this has been provided
by the publishing of:
TITLE: Primer of Biblical Greek
ISBN: 0802846289
Publisher: Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company
Publish Date: 1 August 1999
Author: N. Clayton Croy (Author)
Binding: Paperback 264 pages
List Price: USD 18.00
Everything you loved (or hated) about Machen will be found in this book with
one execution, this book is very explicitly politically correct. This will
appeal to some people.
The presentation is very in very simple language. The exercises include
samples from the NT, LXX, as well as some artificial Greek sentences and
English to Greek translation.
So if you are still using Machen you ought to at least take a look at this
book. I haven't heard a lot of talk about it on b-greek, are any of you
professors already using it?
