Philemon 6
hOPWS hH KOINWNIA THS PISTEWS SOU ENERGHS GENHTAI EN EPIGNWSEI PANTOS
AGAQOU TOU EN hHMIN EIS CRISTON.
BDAG's comments on KOINWNIA interested me: "(4) _participation, sharing_
TINOS in someth." and then it translated part of this verse as, "that
your participation in the faith may be made known through your deeds."
I have two questions:
1) Do you think that the SOU modifies hH KOINWNIA or THS PISTEWS?
2) How did BDAG get "made known through your deeds" from the Greek?
I think that this is probably the most difficult verse in Philemon to
understand. Any other help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jonathan Boyd
