Dear Iver,
you think that
"For Koine Greek the basic word order is VSO (verb - subject - object)".
How did you reach that conclusion? Are there a number of descriptive
studies pointing to that conclusion? Do you think that any deviation
from the basic word order implies some kind of "emphasis"?
Are there any studies for the basic word order for NP constituents and
adverbials?
