IMO, I should think that discussing different views on a particular
matter, specifically a scripture verse, would be a mark of unbiased
scholarship. Especially if the person is giving the pros and cons of each
view. Of course we want to hear a commentator's opinions, but the primary
aim is to discover what the text is saying, and if there are different
interpretations, then they need to be addressed.
Again, in my opinion.
