If I may inject a note of something less than deadly earnest into this
discussion, although I THINK I understand what Ben's trying to say here,
I'm beginning to wonder how we distinguish "half-decent" from "decent." I'm
using Eudora 5.1 which has a peculiar new feature called "MoodWatch"
described as follows in the release notes: "MoodWatch. MoodWatch is a new
Eudora feature that can monitor offensive text in both incoming and
outgoing messages. You can display the new MoodWatch options dialog to set
MoodWatch settings" The display for "MoodWatch" shows one to five red
peppers depending on the calculation of offensiveness of the wording of the
message in question. For some reason beyond my ken, every message in this
current thread shows up with three red peppers in the appropriate column of
the catalog. I could turn the "MoodWatch" feature off in Eudora, but it
provides some degree of amusement so I keep it on.
