I found I was able to read the article by changing the encoding. You do this in Internet Explorer by the following commands:
alt-V (View)>Encoding>More>Greek (ISO) or Greek (Windows).
The rest of the article displays in English, but the Greek words are in their proper font. The commands I gave might launch an applet that downloads the fonts, and if it does, you will have to restart windows and return to the article. It's worth the time, though, because you will have the encoding when you need it again.
