The answer is yes.
Allen Wickgren is the dissenter from the "Gang of Five" (p. 198, Metzger's
Commentary on the GNT3 1971). Wickgren points out that the nomina sacra for
UIOS/QEOS which are US/QS, differ only by one letter. He attributes the
reading QS to a transcription error.
For a full discussion of this textual variant see Murray J. Harris, "Jesus as
God", Baker 1991, page ??). I don't have Harris' book or I would give a
synopsis.
