On the question of hO GEGONEN in John 1:3, it should be calculated that
the option of "redundancy" does mar the inverted parallelism. In
near-lyrical
poetry, words may be pressed or stretched. hO GEGONEN may carry the
sense of source (cf. 1:3a-b), "'that which has created' IN HIM was LIFE
(understand Eternal Life) in him, and the Life was the-Light-of-Men" =
revelatory.
Just a thought for the discussion mill.
