Fellow B-Greekers:
I promise that this will be my last submission to the B-Greek list about
my wife's health, since I know that personal matters and prayer requests
are not really appropriate to the list's purpose. I hope I have not set
a precedent, but when trauma stirkes, one turns to those he considers
friends.
Responses to my prayer requests have been OVERWHELMING !!. I have not
counted the emails I have received from you, but there must be at least
150. I cannot tell you how they have lifted my spirit during this ordeal
(and that of Kathy's as well), and I cannot begin to thank you for your
kindness. One of the list members even telephoned to encourage me while
I was in the waiting room, during the surgery. As I mentioned in an
earlier post, I fully intend to answer each and every response you sent
to me. Right now, my time is dominated by seeing to my dear wife's
needs. The surgery was very extensive, but it was successful. It
appears that the Lord will allow me to keep the love of my life for some
time to come, for which I am very grateful. She is home now, and
requires quite a bit of care, but she is healing and improving each day.
I will NEVER forget your love and concern during this time of extreme
stress.
May God richly bless each of you.
