Many thanks to everyone who has responded to my plea for help. Thanks
especially to those who sent me a copy of the font.
BUT though I'm absolutely delighted to have a font that looks so much like
the handwritten uncials, I had been looking for something slightly
different.
What I was REALLY wanting was the font used in the B-Greek logo (you
should see this on the top of this page). This is much neater and more
readable. Maybe I've got it wrong, and it isn't Jack Kilmon's Sinaiticus.
Or maybe it's a version later THAN the one that a couple of you have
sent to me (Macromedia Fontographer 4.1 5/18/98).
So ....
1) Can anyone tell me how to get hold of the font used in the B-Greek
logo?
and/or ....
2) Within the font I've already received, can anyone give me any clues on
how to produce the line used above abbreviated words? (Jesus, God etc)
