You can vote \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Yes\u00e2\u20ac\u009d for the quarter-cent Sales and Use Tax, which will not apply to groceries and gas.<\/p>\n<p>The county\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s budget has shrunk over the past two years, but citizens want and deserve quality services. We have pledged to dedicate funds from the Sales and Use Tax to economic development, schools, libraries and emergency management.\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8\u00e2\u20ac\u00a8<\/p>\n<p>Providing monies to promote economic development and jobs is an investment that will improve our long-term financial health. Monies for schools will help preserve our quality education system.\u00c2\u00a0Increased resources for libraries will move us towards a per-capita expenditure equivalent to the state average.
