Her long career with the Bureau of Prisons gives her a first-hand sense of the challenges and adversity faced by many in our society.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Senator Kinnaird is one of only two senators to receive a 100 percent voting score from the Conservation Council of North Carolina. Her leadership on issues ranging from hog waste regulation to the death penalty moratorium to establishing one-stop early voting is exemplary.
