He worked for 14 years in the Boston area as an arts administrator, where he was general manager for Blue Man Group Boston, theater manager for the Charles Playhouse and an arts program administrator for Brandeis University.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>DSI (short for \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Dirty South Improv\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) continues to bolster its reputation and influence on the national improv and alternative comedy scene through its coast-to-coast network of over 100 professional improv actors, a highly regarded improv training center and with IMPLOSION, its college improv outreach program.<\/p>\n<p>DSI was selected as the 2006 Business of the Year by the Chapel-Hill Carrboro Chamber of Commerce.<\/p>\n<p>\u00e2\u20ac\u0153We are thrilled to welcome Shane to the DSI community,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d said DSI owner and executive producer Zach Ward.<\/p>\n<p>This week DSI hosts Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh as the guest monologist in two special performances of MISTER DIPLOMAT.
