To commemorate the district\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s centennial, CHCCS will conduct a few events each month.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will kick off with the Back-to-School Convocation for staff members at Chapel Hill Bible Church on Wednesday. The convocation will focus on the district\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s past, present and future. The past will be captured in a video production, while the present will be discussed through the vehicle of the district\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s new strategic plan. The future will be discussed by keynote speaker David Warlick, a nationally-recognized expert in the area of technology and 21st century skills. Staff members will receive a commemorative pin and a copy of the strategic plan.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nStudents and families are encouraged to participate in the centennial celebration in a number of ways, and will receive a flyer that outlines the yearlong observation.
