Details at www.corksforkidsnc.com<\/p>\n<p>Acme is going all out for their five-course Sept. 12 dinner. Here\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s a snippet from the menu: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Second Course \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Lobster Bisque with Lump Blue Crab, Roasted Chili, and Avocado Fool; Third Course \u00e2\u20ac\u201d Grilled Carolina Quail Stuffed with Wild Mushroom Pate served over Warm Curried Zephyr Squash.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<br \/>\nZephyr is a cool word, no?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wining<\/strong><br \/>\nWhile we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re on the subject \u00e2\u20ac\u201d we vote \u00e2\u20ac\u0153not-a-fan\u00e2\u20ac\u009d on Two-Buck Chuck, which around here is actually four bucks. Just can\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t get excited about the idea of adding oak chips into a tank of grape juice to add complexity.<br \/>\nIf you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re looking for a deal on some decent wine, sail down to the end of the river. A one-liter bottle of Fin Del Rio, a very drinkable Spanish Tempranillo from Castilla y Le\u00c3\u00b3n, runs you $6.99 at Weaver Street. That translates to $5.60 per for the standard 750 ml.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Best tea in town<\/strong><br \/>\nTip of the hat to The Spotted Dog. Got some feedback from an eater saying they have the best sweet tea in town. \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Not too sweet and full-bodied flavor.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parking lot party<\/strong><br \/>\nOCSC members (member number 5,500 signed up last weekend), mark your calendars for Sept. 21 at 4 p.m. That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the date of the annual Customer Appreciation Day in the parking lot behind the Main Street club. Music by Regina Hexaphone and My Dad is Dead. DJ stylings by Sarah Honer. Food by Neal\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Deli.
