She was 88.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nShe was born in Orange County. She graduated from Chapel Hill High School and attended Croft Business School. In her youth, she was employed with the business department of UNC Utilities. She was a member of Carrboro Baptist Church.<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Morgan. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, daughter and friend. She dearly loved her community of Carrboro. She was an avid UNC Tar Heel fan, especially basketball and football.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include: her brother, Ernest Riggsbee of Carrboro; her daughter, Beverly Dickinson and husband, Dickie, of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Cathy Hearp and husband, Matt, of Greenville, and Michael Dickinson and wife, Maria, of Chapel Hill; and great-grandson, Michael John Dickinson of Chapel Hill. She was dearly loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services were conducted Oct. 5 at 3 p.m. in the Walker\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Funeral Home Chapel in Chapel Hill, with the Rev. Jim Greenlee and the Rev. Phil Partin officiating.
