ECCHS scored in the first half and CHHS\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Taylor Wahrenbrock scored in the second.<\/p>\n<p>Two overtimes went scoreless before a penalty shootout. Liz Passannante scored the final goal while Tiger goalkeeper Alyssa Stefanadis blocked all of East\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s penalty strokes. The CHHS JV team also won, defeating the JV Wildcats 3-0.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>Basketball coaches<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Carrboro Recreation and Parks Department is currently accepting volunteer coach\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s applications for the 2007-08 Youth Basketball Program. Coaches must exhibit the ability to organize practices and communicate effectively with players 6 to 8 years old or 9 to 10 years old, parents and Recreation Department staff.<\/p>\n<p>For more information call 918-7364.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Players wanted<\/strong><br \/>\nCarrboro is sponsoring a Youth Basketball Program for ages 6 to 15 (as of October 15). Registration is currently being accepted during office hours Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Recreation office, Carrboro Century Center, The fee is $52 for Orange County residents and $91 for non-Orange County residents.
