Anyone who wants to nominate a K-12 teacher from one of the district\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s 18 schools can find the nomination form online or contact the school\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s office. All nominations are due to the principal\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s office by April 5.<\/p>\n<p>The Teacher of the Year should represent exemplary performance as a member of the teaching staff of CHCCS. Such performance can be characterized by excellence in the classroom, civic involvement, contributions to the profession of teaching, the possession of positive interpersonal skills and the demonstration of keen interest in the lives of children and youth.<\/p>\n<p>Nominees must meet the state\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s criteria: be a full-time, fully certified classroom teacher, having completed at least four years of experience.
