Since we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ve already had two tropical storms off the coast, it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s hard not to be aware. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Climate Prediction Center predicts a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153normal\u00e2\u20ac\u009d hurricane season, meaning nine to 15 storms, four to eight hurricanes and one to three major hurricanes. Included in their prediction is this reminder: \u00e2\u20ac\u0153It only takes one storm hitting your area to cause a disaster, regardless of the overall activity predicted in the seasonal outlook.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Indeed.<\/p>\n<p>June 1 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Sunrise: 6:01 a.m.; Sunset: 8:28 p.m.<br \/>\nJune 30 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Sunrise: 6:03 a.m.; Sunset: 8:37 p.m.<br \/>\n Full Moon \u00e2\u20ac\u201c June        Last Quarter \u00e2\u20ac\u201c June 11<br \/>\n New Moon \u00e2\u20ac\u201c June 19\t First Quarter \u00e2\u20ac\u201c June 26<\/p>\n<p>The Full Moon in <strong>June<\/strong> is the Flower Moon, Strawberry Moon, Honey Moon, Planting Moon and, naturally, the Hot Moon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Planets &#038; Stars<\/strong><br \/>\nVia <em>Amy Sayle<\/em> of the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center:<br \/>\nOn June 5 <strong>Venus<\/strong> passes directly in front of (\u00e2\u20ac\u0153transits\u00e2\u20ac\u009d) the Sun for the last time this century. Never look directly at the Sun! Visit transitofvenus.org to learn about safe ways to view this event.<\/p>\n<p>In the evening sky, <strong>Mars<\/strong> moves from Leo to Virgo over the month and Saturn continues to shine in Virgo near the bright star Spica.
