Description

The Village Band is a group of amateur musicians from Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham, Hillsborough, Raleigh, and Cary. The member's backgrounds are as varied as their ages - doctors, pilots, software engineers, lawyers, retirees aged 20 something to 80 something. Some members started playing recently after a 20+ year hiatus while others have long and distinguished careers as amateur performers. The band plays 7-9 concerts a year performing a broad repertoire.
