About that A2 do-si-do -- this follows the MWSD wave rule, that figures with facing couples can also be done if you've already stepped forward to form a wave. To really see it, take a step back so you can face your partner on the side. Then do-si-do your partner 1 & 1/4 to make that wave. Then redo the whole thing, skipping the original backwards step, and the first forwards step.
