over the Gard Line and took a regular Fight and they ware
both put in the Gardhouse my intentions is to gard against

has tryed it by being tore from home and them that is near
and dear to them Oh that some more could feel what I have
felt I think they would turn their ways before it is everlastingly
two late just to hear men hear talking of loved ones at
and expresing their feeling about being parted from Fathers
Mothers Brothers Sisters Wifes and Children not considering
the dangers and Fateage of camp life dear Wife I will have
to stop writing for I could fill a quire of paper on Such
Subjects as we have before us at this time I want you to
