ddooddiisskk - performs disk accounting


SYNOPSIS

       //uussrr//ssbbiinn//ddooddiisskk [mount_points]


DESCRIPTION

       By  default,  the  ddooddiisskk command uses aaccccttdduussgg to do disk
       accounting by login directory for all filesystems.  It  is
       typically run by using the cron(8) command.

       By  default,  ddooddiisskk  reports  accounting  information  in
       //vvaarr//ccssaa//ddaayy//ddttmmpp, converts the records  to  cacct  format
       and stores them in //vvaarr//ccssaa//nniittee//ddiisskkccaacccctt.

       The ddooddiisskk command accepts the following operand:

       mount_points   Specifies  one  or  more  mount  points  of
                      mounted   filesystem   names   where   disk
                      accounting  is  performed.  If mount_points
                      are  not  specified,  "/"  is  the  default
                      filesystem.


EXAMPLES

       The  following  example  is  a possible entry for the root
       ccrroonnttaabb file so that cron(8) automatically runs ddooddiisskk:

            3300    1100    **    **    11--55     //uussrr//ssbbiinn//ddooddiisskk     22>>
            //vvaarr//ccssaa//nniittee//ddkk22lloogg
