SYNOPSIS

       hotplug [ help | --help | AgentName ]

       /etc/init.d/hotplug [start|stop|status|restart|force-
       reload|help]

DESCRIPTION

hotplug is a program which is called from kernel, when
some device is detected on USB, PCI, and so on. The pro
gram path name is registered in /proc/sys/kernel/hotplug.
So, it is not necessary to execute this program directly
by hand, it will be executed by automatically.

hotplug calls agent, which is in /etc/hotplug/*.agent,
       specified by its argument.

If you execute it without argument, it will show its
       usage.
