It was a poor post and I apologize. I remain opinionated about a number of
BD issues as they apply to my work life. In my work place I must justify all
expenditures with data. At the time I looked at Dr. Willard’s water I could
find none. I work in mainstream ornamental horticulture and without data I
don’t get the funding. Perhaps I read too much of “Diet for a Small Planet”
as a youngster to take many lessons from livestock folks. I am however
beginning to question the possibilities of the effectiveness of BD concepts
in my personal garden. Reading Dr. Andersons work fascinates me. Bruce
Elliot was kind enough to give me one of his books. Perhaps I’ve a bit more
crow to eat! Thanks for your patience.

This past month I had a landscape contractor who is a committed vegan ask me
why I was willing to put things in my body that I was unwilling to put into
my compost pile for building healthy soil. But that’s another adventure…..

What do you mean by this, Tom?

I noticed the other day that Joel Salatin uses Willard water. It's
pretty much a given that Joel won't spend a penny on something that
he can't find or build. To see that he uses Willard water (in
livestock watering troughs) was a testimonial to me. Not a scientific
one, of course!
