Hi Russ and group -

The Stoneville, Miss Biological Control group has been around for a long
time. All that is happening is that they are building a new lab for the
group. Don't expect anything except the same old, same old from them.

This group has a single-species orientation, basically with the mind-set that
for each pest, there is a control species. I have always thought of this as
the toxic chemical mind-set.

Have disease? Apply this chemical. Or from this group, apply this one
bacterial control species. Sigh.

There should be so much more that this group does, but they are still in
chemical mindset. New lab? Will that change the set of blinders they have
on their minds?
We could all wish that it would, but I don't hold out much hope.
