ogy, and continue to think there is something worthy there. >>>>>

First, here is my reaction to the SS. Ed Neff sent me one and I used it a=
nd tested it without telling Dr. E the name of the machine. I got O.K. bac=
terial, but NO fungal. I then ran a pump inside the bag....same thing. I t=
hink the only reason I got good bacteria was because of the use of AH.

Second, someone suggest that Dr. Elaine help improve the machine. Elaine an=
d others, myself included, have have made suggestion regarding the machine.=
These have not been taken. It is not up to us to improve the machine. This=
is Ed and Jerry's job. If they don't want to, they need to understand that=
there is a group of folks who rely on tests and when we recommend machines=
or write about their use, we do tell readers to check the tests or we repo=
rt our own tests. They will, ultimately, loose no matter how much PR they =
pay for because garden writers are very, very sensitive to passing on bad i=
nformation.

Third, it is a shame that Soil Soup folks won't come out of their lurkdom h=
ere and participate. No one wants to harm their business.

Cheers,

Jeff
