Ross asked if it is necessary to pre-inoculate if you have great numbers.
My guess is that the pre inoculation does nothing to increase the amount of=
fungi in the 'compost' (humus/vermicompost) if you don't have good numbers=
in the first instance. My theory is the pre inoculation gets the fungi gr=
owing in the teas before the bacteria can take over and dominate. Teas come=
in with much higher fungal numbers than without pre inoculation even thoug=
h AH and your vermicompost give good numbers without it. They are just bet=
ter, by a significant factor if you pre inoculate.
Of course, more work is being doing!
