I believe that 5 gallons per acre is NOT a rigid number. Many of us are
putting far more tea out than this. We’ve done some grass fields with a
beginning rate of 25 gallons per acre. I think this recommendation should be
based on the general soil conditions extrapolated from some basic testing. 5
gallons may be sufficient in concert with a program of incorporating organic
materials and other products ( humates, sapponin, and organic fertilizers to
name a few). Lets be certain we don’t imply a 5 gallon rate will change the
soil on it’s own.

You need to get 5 gallons of good tea per acre as a spray. You can dilute it
as much as you want, as long as you get the 5 gallons per acre. You can
apply it full strength or diluted.....doesn't matter. And, as a soil drench
you can apply full strength or diluted as well.
