Has anyone done any study of what grows the best protozoa either to add to =
tea as it is applied or later? We concentrate a lot on fungi and bacteria,=
but they are the "fertilizer" bags. I would like to know other's experienc=
es growing protozoa, one of the "fertilizer spreaders."
So far I have been using an ornamental straw in a bucket filled with well w=
ater, aerated with an aquarium bubbler for 12 to 36 hours. I get plenty of =
critters when viewed under the scope, and some are even familiar from high =
school biology--paramecium, amoeba, volvox? I must have paid some attentio=
n.
Any other suggested methods? What works best? When is the best time to add =
these to teas?
Cheers,
Jeff
