Susan, I guess it is Sunday somewhere, so I can answer your question....w=
e are not advertising here.

Of course we have the property mapped and tested. I can't answer with too=
much more specificity without giving up some trade secrets that are not mi=
ne to give up! However, I can say the property from which Alaska Humus come=
s from has been extensively mapped, sampled and tested with both surface an=
d depth in mind. This particular deposit is not the 70 foot deep one you en=
vision, however. These tests have been done through SFI ( and others) since=
1999. If we start taking AH from another site, you can be sure it will be =
extensively tested as well. We are just as concerned about the sanctity of =
AH as you because we use it ourselves and sell it to our neighbors.

In addition to the site having been extensively sampled and tested, and t=
hat testing continues, let me put your specific fears to rest: If you want =
to know how your individual box of AH tests out, all you need do is look at=
the tests we include with the purchase. We take internet sales from a sing=
le container located in our warehouse that holds about 1200 pounds. Every t=
ime we fill it, we test that specific 1200 pound batch with SFI. We also p=
ost tea tests made with that batch on our internet site.

We make and test our own teas using AH from the very same warehoused cont=
ainer. We, too, want consistent, great teas with the high fungal and bacter=
ial numbers Alaska Humus "promises." That is why we got into this business=
in the first place, so we could make killer teas. Frankly, this is still t=
he main reason we are in business. We like to make great tea!

To bring this around to a non-commercial topic, how many times have we he=
ard that any manufacturer of Compost Tea products and Machines should be ab=
le provide tests? Alaska Humus does. Many others do as well.

I hope this answers your question sufficiently?

  Cheers,

  Jeff

P.S. I, too am a former geologist! Exploration geology is fun during coll=
ege years, but it isn't for families or arthritic bodies. In any case, you =
may remember the law of uniformity from Geology 101? It applies to Alaska =
AH as it does to deposits of coal, humates,......
