Is this N, that is immobilized, distinguishable in a typical N-P-K compost =
test? What kind of N-P-K numbers does compost tea have? How does SFI determ=
ine the potential N availability of Compost Tea?
thanks,

>When you compost manure, the nitrates are taken up by the bacteria and fun=
gi and immobilized in organism biomass. thus, there may be >the same amoun=
t of N present, but in a very different, not-leachable form. A form that w=
eeds cannot access, and therefore does not help >weeds grow.
