Miekal and all: the Jacke/Toensmeier book on forest gardens should be out in
the spring (that's early 2001 for the upside-down people on the list). I've
seen a litle bit of it, and it looks great. The same publisher, Chelsea
Green, is putting out my own book on permaculture gardening a little before
it (the current, ever-fluctuating title depending on the mood of Chelsea's
marketing staff is "Replanting Paradise"), so I've had a chance to sneak a
look. Lots of good plant lists, and they did pretty extensive touring of
existing US forest gardens. Can't wait.
