These lyrics trace the adventures of foreign port experiences enjoyed by many sailing ships in the golden age of sail, from Liverpool to Maui.<\/div>\n<div class=\"lyrics-header\">Lyrics:<\/div>\n<div class=\"lyrics\">\n[Em] At last we sailed past Rio Grande<br \/>\nA-headed [D] round Cape [Em] Horn<br \/>\n[Em] We&#8217;ll make our way to Valpo Bay<br \/>\nBefore it&#8217;s [D] Christmas [Em] morn<\/p>\n<p>[Am] Pray that we ride a [Em] faithful tide<br \/>\n[G] Our topsail&#8217;s blowing [D] free<br \/>\n[Em] We&#8217;ve many gifts for them Valpo gals<br \/>\n&#8216;Fore we head [D] back to [Em] sea<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll take up loads of good supplies<br \/>\nTo the California coast<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll bring them miner forty-niners<br \/>\nWhat they need the most<\/p>\n<p>Pray that we ride a faithful tide<br \/>\nOur topsail&#8217;s blowing free<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll kiss them California girls<br \/>\n&#8216;Fore we head back to sea<\/p>\n<p>The port of San Francisco is<br \/>\nNow many miles behind<br \/>\nWe&#8217;re rolling back to Liverpool<br \/>\nA-blowing on the wind<\/p>\n<p>Pray that we ride a faithful tide<br \/>\nOur topsail&#8217;s blowing free<br \/>\nOnce more we&#8217;ll kiss them Valpo gals<br \/>\n&#8216;Fore we head back to sea<\/p>\n<p>And when our sailing is all done<br \/>\nWe go back around the Horn<br \/>\nBe sure of your boots and oilskins<br \/>\nOr you wish you&#8217;d never been born<\/p>\n<p>Pray that we ride a faithful tide<br \/>\nOur topsail&#8217;s blowing free<br \/>\nWe&#8217;ll say hello to them Liverpool gals<br \/>\n&#8216;Fore we head back to sea<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><script src=\"http:\/\/digg.com\/tools\/diggthis.js\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do I download this Mp3?
