Terminal Velocity

Question 1

Calculate the terminal velocity of the skydiver. How far does a skydiver fall before his or her velocity reaches , that is, 0.99 Vt. Assume k = 0.2 Ns2/m2 and m = 80 kg. In Question 4 of Comparison, you found the time required for vf to equal . When you solve this problem you will have the time and distance fallen by a skydiver for his or her velocity to reach 0.99 Vt.

Question 2

Tabulate Vt vs. m for values of m between 40 and 120 kg.
