RE: [compost_tea] Need Info spider mites

Saponyn doesn’t “reveal” itself when added to the sprayer. Add it to the brew and it gets exciting!!!!!

Jeff

which soap product are you using in your tea - Saponyn ?
Prior to CT I used Safer's soap as a surfactant (not licensed organic ones
in Canada). Although expensive it worked and a side benefit was no mites
and few leaf hoppers.
This year using CT I had leaf hoppers again.

I am considering increasing the amount of saponyn added directly into the
sprayer. I realize this will need to be countered with a shot of vegetable
oil so that the neighbours don't think I'm washing up my vineyard.
