RES: [compost_tea] bio zom

I agree that it does not add to the diversity whatsoever

but the true ( if any ) benefit of an organism such as this

one found in the Biozome is to work in very specialized ways

i.e. in the lack of oxygen or in any other anaerobic condition

which is obvioulsly not the case of aerobic tea.

It might work very well for making compost without frequent turning

or even in the so called “Biofertilizers” which are widely made here in Brazil

which utilizes Fresh Cow Manure, milk, molasses, and a bit of every

micronutrient such as Copper sulphate, Zinc sul., Iron Sulp., etc…

which is basically a liquid type of anaerobic composting.

I  went to the site. Interesting stuff, but I wonder about a number of things with regard to using it in teas.

First, seems the species of microbes he touts don't need much oxygen. Wonder how they do when they are in a heavily oxygenated tea brew!

Second, what is the diversity here? What would you really be adding to the teas.

I would put dollars to the bet  that your tea is better than the biozome and that adding it to your tea won't make it that much better!

But, I guess it takes a test!

Cheers,

Jeff
