[compost_tea] Thanks for the info!!!
I would like to thank Bob for being willing to give home enthusiasts
guidance and advice. It is this kind of generosity, and sharing of knowledge
that makes the compostteagroup more then just a means of advertising.
Bob, could you describe in detail the kind of air powered pump system you
use to circulate and aerate the brew?
As far as the folks spending nearly $700.00 on a home brewer, please check
out www.aquaticeco.com for your supplies in the future. . They have
everything. The best thing to do is get a hard copy of the Aquatic
Eco-system catalog. It is a lot more user friendly then the on line catalog.
Aquatic Eco-Systems, Inc. is where I purchased my air pump and diffusers. I
SPENT WAY, WAY LESS THEN $685.00 FOR MY SUPPLIES.
For compost and such, I think that Ill use some of that fantastic Alaska
humus. Maybe Ill add in some Vermicompost, and Thermal compost for good
diversity. I will try to get some compost, and fungi from the nearby woods
as recommended by a couple of the other members of the list. A high quality
humic acid product and perhaps some kind of kelp product for fungal foods. I
really wanna use that Liquid Fish stuff, but don't want to attract the Coons
and Bears.
Happy Brewin,
John
