Dan,
I have to disagree. As a professional lobbyist in
another life, I know that asking a Congressperson to write a letter inquiring on
behalf of a constituent is not going over the heads of the NOSB. If the
NOSB does it job well, there is no need for them to be concerned.
Dan, they almost screwed us last time and the only way to make
sure there is adequate public interest is to have congressional "oversight" by
way of asking for reports and updates to specific members.
Yes, I thought about the ICTC. At the
appropriate time they will be asked to help out if they are not already on it.
(AH just became a member and we wil, ask for help!
Right now, we want to find out what is going on in
a way that cannot later be denied. A letter from the ICTC to the NOB would not
hurt. I will contact OUR executive director about this.....
Anyhow, you are correct that we should ALSO try and
make better contact ourselves.
Does that make sense?
Cheers,
Jeff
