[compost_tea] Re: "maybe" Don't use MOLD

What is mold ?

what makes it better or worse than any other fungi ?

a few weeks ago I pre-activated two batches of AH. I posted pictures of the
results on the listserv website (Tea-riffic folder) because one batch had
developed a dense green mold which I thought looked like penicillian. I
didn't use it but used the one with puffy white growth.

Elaine wrote back and said that the green stuff was likely Trichorderma,
SOME OF THE REALLY GOOD STUFF ! of course by them I had chucked the compost
with the green mold.

We need reference material. I searched for pictures of trichoderma and only
found sketches of what they look like under a microscope. So we need those
little microscopes too.
