Re: RES: [compost_tea] Don't use MOLD and a RANT

Is the fungi subject to damage when moving the CT from the brewer to the sprayer, or even by the spraying action?  If the CT is filtered from the brewer to the sprayer does this block or  interefere with the fungi?   If so, does it matter?

Thanks

SFI does differentiate fungal diversity.  On the report, you get an average fungal diameter.  IN GENERAL, the higher fungi have a wider diameter than the lower fungi.  Lower fungi are, IN GENERAL, the disease causers.

Fungi that sporulate rapidly are, IN GENERAL, the disease causers.  That's the pathogen life-style.  Grow fast, make lots of off-spring.  Those are the clouds dust you see.

The colored hyphae - green, black, blue-green, pink, grey, tend to be the disease-causers, although that is only a trend, not as good a generalizaiont as the others.  But still, not too bad.

The GOOD GUYS grow their hyphae trhough the medium NOT fuzz, not hairy fuzz-balls.  Santa;s beard, ok, good description, because it's a DENSE, thick mat, not fuzz.  They do not easily sporulate!

OK?
